Using the power of storytelling, SRV has created exegetical resources that accelerate Bible translation by oral peoples. These resources are called FIA based on three key concepts: familiarizing, internalizing and articulating Scripture passages.
FIA maximizes learning in the way people naturally communicate - through telling stories, discussing, looking at pictures, re-enacting, etc. and is particularly effective for oral language learners.
FIA is a simple, yet profound, pattern of six steps that can be repeated for any passage of the Bible. It can be easily taught and adopted so churches can own the process of translation and evangelism from the beginning.
